In this meeting, Juliette Alenda-Demoutiez (Assistant Professor at Radboud University) will present on the course she designed for her Bachelor Programme (Economics and Business Economics), “Economics and Sustainable Development.” This presentation will be structured in two main parts.
First, she will focus on the seven principles of Doughnut Economics to reshape the economics discipline. Kate Raworth’s famous book is offering an important framework to also rethink our teaching.
She will then explain how she integrated these seven principles in her own course design and content. She will focus on her experiences at the University, teaching to students in social sciences. However, it might be of interest for other levels and disciplines.
There will be room for questions and discussion.
