CORE Econ voorziet in introductielessen economie die zich richten op uitdagingen als toenemende ongelijkheid, klimaatverandering, zorgen over de toekomst van werk en financiële instabiliteit.

Tijdens deze lezing vertellen twee ervaren CORE-instructeurs hoe zij de gratis studieboeken en les- en leermaterialen van CORE in hun lessen hebben toegepast. Juan Pablo Castilla Bravo doceerde met behulp van  CORE’s The Economy aan het Colegio Los Nogales (Colombia). Annika Johnson doceerde als hoofddocent economie aan de Universiteit van Bristol (Verenigd Koninkrijk).

CORE Econ proposes a new benchmark for economics teaching in introductory courses, which focuses on new challenges such as mounting inequalities, climate change, concerns about the future of work and financial instability.

Two experienced CORE instructors will explain how they’ve adopted CORE’s free textbooks and teaching and learning materials in their classes. Juan Pablo Castilla Bravo adopted CORE’s The Economy at Colegio Los Nogales, Colombia, where he previously served as a teacher. Annika Johnson taught The Economy at the University of Bristol, UK, where she is a Senior Lecturer in Economics.
