The meeting 'Economy, citizenship and sustainability' will start with a presentation by economist Lans Bovenberg (Professor at Tilburg University) in which he will discuss Citizenship and Sustainability for secondary education from an economic perspective. Next, HvA senior lecturer Adwin Bosschaart gives a presentation Sustainability education in general and how the school subject geography addresses sustainability. This will focus on the minor program Sustainability at the HvA. After this there will be room for questions and (interdisciplinary) discussion.

The meeting is intended for teachers and students from the social studies subjects of economics, geography, social studies and history from, both from the HvA and externally.
