National Secondary Education Day | Location: Fontys Education

Economics is a social subject that is about making choices. These choices are not made on the basis of theoretical models alone, but by weighing alternatives in the social context. The question is how do you make economics really relevant for your students? And what opportunities do the revised core objectives offer for subjects such as broad welfare and impact entrepreneurship?

On Thursday, November 26, (future) teachers of general economics, business economics, and entrepreneurship (VMBO, HAVO, VWO) will tackle these questions at Fontys Educatie. They interact and share in open exchange their concrete examples, experiences and insights. Guided by: the cross-curricular vision of future-oriented business and economics education, endorsed on behalf of the Vecon by Thomas Oosterkamp.

The day offers an opportunity to learn and develop with the teaching team. At the end, participants will receive a certificate as proof of participation.
