Article: Economic education upside down

In the September issue of the Journal of Economic Education, an article appeared on the occasion of Economics Education Week. The article is a plea for redesigning the subject of economics in secondary education. This subject, the article argues, does more than prepare students for possible further studies as economists. It should make students aware of their role in the economy, as consumers and future employees or even producers. All the more important to nurture them with sustainable and inclusive ways of looking at the economy.
