Regional cooperation on future-oriented economic vocational education

Zwolse Koers

The field of work for college and university economics students is changing. Globally, the emphasis of many businesses is shifting from "continuing to grow" to "continuing to exist. Occupations in economic support are disappearing and appearing, and technological and social developments are affecting the field. It is important for economics educators to anticipate this and look at how to make their economics education more future-proof.

As part of the Week of Economics Education, Vakblad Profiel published an article in which Kirsten Slot (education manager of Economics and Entrepreneurship at Deltion College and member of the Zwolse Koers regional group) explains how she deals with these developments and fleshes out future-proof economics education.
